Internet Resources for Change.

Here are some books that I can recomend. I have read many, many books over the years and learned something from each one. I am grateful to so many authors, teachers, and my personal mentors who have guided, stimulated and challenged me, enriching my life immeasurably.

All are linked directly to Amazon.com, where you can purchase them at a significant discount, and have them delivered directly to your home in just a few days. If you buy through my site, I recieve % of the sale.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  This is one of the very first self-help books that I read, way back in 1959, and I still think it's one of the best.  And ofcourse it's outdated but the ideas have stood the test of time!

The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Schovel Shinn.  Simple metaphysics, easy to understand and still one of my "bibles", even after reading far more erudite and influential works.

The Aquarian Conspiracy by Marilyn Furgusson

Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz  (Get the new one)

The Portable Coach by Thomas Leonard

The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm

Ken Carey (anything that he's written)
I'm not cute or built to suit a model's fashion size
But when I start to tell them
They think I'm telling lies.
I say
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips
The stride of my steps
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally

Phenomenal woman
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please
And to a man
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees
Then they swarm around me
A hive of honey bees.
I say
It's the fire in my eyes
And the flash of my teeth
The swing of my waist
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman

Phenomenal woman
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say
It's in the arch of my back
The sun of my smile
The ride of my breasts
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally

Phenomenal woman
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say
It's in the click of my heels
The bend of my hair
The palm of my hand
The need for my care.
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally

Phenomenal woman
That's me.
